At The Perinatal Sanctuary, compassion, kindness, curiosity, and a non-judgemental approach define the therapeutic ethos. The Perinatal Sanctuary’s approach is deeply personal, adapting to the unique needs of each individual. The journey starts with a comprehensive assessment, exploring strengths, difficulties, and personal history. Together, they create a formulation to make sense of challenges. Drawing from a range of therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment Narrative Therapy ideas (ANT), and Circle of Security Parenting Intervention, The Perinatal Sanctuary offers an integrative approach.

Beyond individual and group therapy, The Perinatal Sanctuary extends support to health professionals through supervision and contributes to the field with training sessions on perinatal anxiety, post-natal depression, attachment theory, and intrusive thoughts. Consultation sessions are available to colleagues, providing a protected space for psychological exploration.

Self-funding referrals are welcomed, and we are open to registration with insurance companies.
